OHFA Mandates Carbon Monoxide Detectors In Units Occupied by Section 8 Residents

First published in the Spring/Summer 2019 issue of the News on 8 newsletter. More than 150 people die in the United States each year from accidental non-fire related carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. When a fossil fuel-burning appliance or device, such as a heater, isn’t working properly, CO poisoning can occur.

2019 Tax Credit Income Limits

HUD published the 2019 income limits for the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and Tax-Exempt Bond programs. The limits for the LIHTC and Bond projects are published separately from the limits for HUD programs and are called the MTSP limits.

Freddie Mac Home Possible offers additional downpayment option
