Elizabeth Windel received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma in 2003, and after several years working in commercial architecture, founded Southern Design Group, LLC in 2009. The Ardmore-based architecture firm has a large portfolio of commercial and residential projects, including 11 Low Income Housing Tax Credit developments. Beth strives to design affordable housing that is not only cost-effective, but beautiful. She was recently appointed by the Governor as the first female architect to the Board of Licensed Architects.
