Raise the Roof

Connie Schlittler, LCSW, MPA is Director of the Office of Planning, Research and Statistics for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services. OPRS is responsible for grant writing, program evaluation, and statistical reports for the agency. As a successful grant writer, she has secured $13 million in federal funds to the agency in areas of aging, foster care, child care, and information technology. Currently, Connie serves as the project director of the Road to Independence Network, a two-year planning grant to improve adult outcomes for youth exiting foster care. She initiated the Practice and Policy Lecture Series in 2007 and the Oklahoma’s Women’s Leadership Conference for Women in Public Service in 2009.
