John Wiechmann is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Midwest Housing Equity Group, Inc. (MHEG), a non-profit organization that raises private capital for the production, rehabilitation and preservation of affordable housing in the Midwest. He also serves on Midwest Housing Development Fund’s Board of Directors.  John is also a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council and a Trustee of the Multifamily Council for the National Association of Homebuilders.  Prior to joining MHEG, John was a partner at the law firm of Kutak Rock LLP.  He received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
