Raise the Roof

As the Senior Policy Associate at the National Housing Trust, Laura Abernathy works with states and cities to address affordable, multifamily housing preservation. She monitors housing policy proposals on the state and local level, paying particular attention to the ways in which policies address the preservation of affordable housing, the greening of the existing housing stock, and the opportunities available to low- and moderate- income households.

Laura’s work includes developing content for PrezCat (an online catalog of state and local preservation policies).
